Recently, I got a call from the head teacher saying my child had deliberately assaulted another child in a “vicious, unprevoked attack,” would I collect her- she was being excluded for 2 days. When I got there my child was in flood of tears, shaking all over & her head was hanging low. She was all by herself, so I put my arm round her. The head teacher said “Go into my office- she wont tell you the truth.” 2 other teachers were already sitting in there… They described what happened, & they told me to punish my child. She was very scared so I didn’t say anything to her… I was shocked… Then the “victim’s” parents told me what had really happened. Another child, who had been bullying my child, had told the teacher my child had done something bad- the teacher was on a laptop & hadn’t seen anything, or even questioned the “victim” who actually had no complaint!
