Operating and recovery rooms at SurgiCare have emergency and defribulator equipment on hand and our staff is trained in emergency care. In the event a patient needs hospital admission, the attending physician may choose to admit the patient to their affiliated hospital or to Jacobi Medical Center — our backup facility. SurgiCare is also located nearby Albert Einstein / Montefiore Hospital and Our Lady of Mercy – Druso Pavilion.
