Is suppliment powder for body building is safe?

Yes if not taken properly certain supplements can potentially be harmful to your health. Creatine can be hard on your kidneys and liver, protien can also be hard on your kidneys, so you want to make sure you are drinking a lot of water while taking these supps and you should be fine. If you can not eat enough to get the gains you are wanting then I would say adding protein shake in between meals is a good thing. But just body building by its self puts a tremendous stress on your body and weakens your immune system so some supps can really help. Such as making sure you are getting all your vitamins and minerals, and all of your amino acids and these come in powder form and are for the most part safe. Also you will not have sudden death after wards by taking protein or creatine.

It’s somewhat ‘safe’ but not really necessary. (but what is ‘safe’ these days anyway?) As for tennislover’s answer, I wouldn’t just assume ANY food is safe. I worry about eating chicken these days. You can get all the protein you need (and more) by eating a good well rounded diet. In fact you don’t even have to eat meat if that is a choice that you can live with. Most people in Western cultures get plenty of protein (enough to be a body builder even if they aren’t) but don’t get enough vitamins and minerals. The vitamins and minerals play an essential part in muscle building and muscle function. You don’t just need protein, you need a lot more than that. Almost all experts agree, you are almost always better off with a well rounded diet of whole foods including lots of fruit and vegetables – and that’s especially true for serious athletes.
