Is Super Sentai goofy as Power Rangers?
In way, yes it is. It depends on the series. Some are more serious than others. For example, Abaranger and Carranger had moments that were very campy, corny, goofy, and absurd. Also, Abaranger had very serious and dramatic moments including death and rape. Jetman, Dairanger and Timeranger are considered some of the more serious series of the franchise. They are also considered the best. As for differences in content, people and heroes actually die in Super Sentai. Villains have included perverts, pedophiles, and homicidal killers. Some allies are considered perverts (Master Elehan of Gekiranger) and some have even committed suicide.
