Is summit entertainment coming out with a new moon movie ?
Yes, Summit is making New Moon. The movie ‘New Moon’ is supposed to come out on November 20, 2009 but i think it wont get done until early 2010. They are currently working on the movie now and they hired Chris Weitz to direct it. They are also thinking about replacing Jacob with someone else so this all may effect the date of when the movie comes out. They also are trying to film ‘New Moon’ and ‘Eclipse’ back to back so they can speed things up in production and since the character Edward is supposed to look 17 throughout the whole series.
