Is Sucking Plastic toys dangerous for babys?
Those that are screaming that it’s so dangerous obviously don’t have any common sense. I’m sure nearly all of them gave their baby a pacifier or a bottle or a teething ring at some point. They’re made of plastic too! The safety of your toys depends. Melamine is in many plastic toys, which can be dangerous if they injest it. As long as it’s a reputable brand of toy and it hasn’t been recalled, it’s okay if he gums it a little. If he’s actually biting it, I wouldn’t let him have it. Also, if it’s painted at all, don’t let him suck or chew on it. And it goes without saying to make sure the toys are too big to choke on.
