Is street graffiti in Hyde Park a problem?

Cans of spray paint were also recovered. They have been released on police bail pending further investigation into a number of other graffiti ‘tagging’ incidents in the area. A tag is a stylised signature which is sprayed or painted. Inspector Ian Croft, of the North West Inner team, said: “Residents are constantly telling us that they are sick and tired of people ruining their communities by putting graffiti tags all over the place. It is criminal damage, plain and simple, and it will not be tolerated. “The message should be quite clear by now.
