Is Steven Tyler quitting Aerosmith?
New York, Nov 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The speculation over Steven Tyler quitting Aerosmith continues. He had cleared the air on Tuesday with his statement that, “I just want New York to know, I am not leaving Aerosmith,” when he joined guitarist Joe Perry on stage in New York’s Irving Plaza. Perry also seemed to welcome him, but now Perry has given a statement that turns the tables back at Tyler. “As it stands, Steven wants to take a couple years off and do some of whatever he wants to do and the rest of the band wants to keep working. The band is a really well-oiled machine and we’re going to work one way or another and I don’t know what form that’s going to take,” Perry said in a telephone interview. Tyler has yet not commented on this, and instead his publicist, Kim Estlund, said that Steven Tyler was not going to issue a statement on Perry’s recent comments.
