Is stem cell transplant a contraindication to receiving smallpox vaccine?
Persons with hematopoietic stem cell transplants should not receive the smallpox vaccine if they <24 months post-transplant or if they are >24 months post-transplant but have graft-versus-host disease or disease relapse.
