An important advantage of the IPM100 is the possibility to combine the stand-alone operating mode (executing local program) with on-line / slave operating mode (executing on-line commands). The stand-alone operating mode is possible due to the local E2ROM memory, which can be loaded with a local TML program, executed by the drive if configured in the “Autorun” mode. At power-on, the drive will immediately start the execution of the local application.
