Is stage 4 lymphoma usually terminal?

0

I have a familly member who just diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. Stage 4 is an advanced stage and usually means that cancer has spread through out the body. This does not mean that is 100% terminal. You need to look at the age of the patient, their over all health and the stage together. You should always be realistic and prepare yourself for the worst but still try to be supportive and hope for the best. If you are asking because you or someone you know has been diagnosed. Then i wish you the best. Make sure to always get more than one opinion on treatment and that you are dealing with specialist. You want someone who specializes on your type of cancer as they will probably have the most information and provide you with the best course of action.
