Is st ives apricot scrub any good?
IMO, St Ives products are not great in general. The apricot scrub is especially harsh. When getting an exfoliant for your face you want something as gentle as possible. Aveeno has a scrub, Skin Brightener Daily Scrub I think it’s called and I really like it. It’s not really harsh so it will be easy on your delicate facial skin but it will help with the flaking skin. It’s also very reasonably priced. Be sure you’re moisturizing properly as well. Dry skin will be flaky and even oily skin can have dry spots. One time I was having a terrible time with flaky skin on my forehead and nothing was helping. Then I tried a hydrocortizone cream made to help with skin irritations, excema, rashes, etc. And it worked – that’s when I first started using Aveeno products and I really like them.
