Is Spillah® carbon neutral?
We will be, but not yet. Spillah® is in the process of attaining carbon neutral certification. It is a two stage process. Firstly the company which sells Spillahs®, Spillsales Pty Ltd, is getting carbon neutral ceritfication through Todae.com.au. This is quit a simple and quick process. The second stage is getting the actual product we sell, Spillahs®, certified. This is a much longer and complex process. It takes into account manufacturing, transport, storage, postage and a whole lot of other stuff. It is then calculated on a per item basis which is included in the cost of each and every Spillah®. Spillah® already sources it’s electricity through Jack Green. Check out www.jackgreen.com.au/ Spillah® also intends to match our carbon offsetting fee dollar for dollar with donations to charities.
