Is SPECIAL KITTY bad for cats?
Both your foods are bad. Special Kitty is cheap food consisting mainly of corn and grain fillers. There is very little meat protein in that food. Iams isn’t much better nutritionally and they do animal testing. Vets are paid by iams to endorse the product. A good quality cat food will have chicken listed as the first ingredient on the package. There will be no grain fillers (wheat, rice, corn) or meat by-products. meat by-products are feathers, bones, beaks, intestines, any part of the animal that can’t be used for human consumption. Wellness and Innova EVO are both very good foods which contain human grade meats in their products. Feeding your cat those cheap foods are like you eating Little Debbie cakes for every meal. Pure junk.
