Is special equipment needed to process Kynar® PVDF?

Kynar® PVDF is processed at relatively low temperatures compared to other fluoropolymers. The same tooling used for polyolefins, PVC, or nylon can be used to injection mold or extrude Kynar® PVDF. Arkema does recommend chrome or nickel plating of the screws and equipment.
