Is Speaking Latino a dictionary of Spanish-English translations?
Speaking Latino is not a comprehensive dictionary. You will not find words with their generic definitions here. For instance, the word hombre means pretty much the same any where, so you will not find hombre with the definition man. However, in Spain hombre is also often used for something like dude, as in “Dude, what do you think?” or in Spanish “Hombre, ¿que piensas?” You will also find common words in English that have different translations in various countries. For example, the word kite in English has several Spanish translations, depending on the country, so the words for kite will be included.
