Yes. Anyone who denies that is not speaking honestly. There are companies who run illegal software on purpose. However, people are better informed on what’s right and what’s wrong. They understand that there’s a huge risk to using illegal software in commercial production. As a designer, CAD manager or IT professional, should I feel threatened by advances in technology? What should I be doing to plan for the future? When computers were first introduced, everyone thought they would lose their jobs. However, it doesn’t matter how smart we make technology, it can only develop or produce what somebody puts into it. The designer is an incredibly valuable asset, and the design technology is purely his tool.
