Is snowmobiling dangerous?
Like alot of things it can be dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing or if you’re being careless. Around where I live most deaths are caused by people riding on frozen lakes/rivers and going through the ice. This may have more to do with ice fishing than snowmachines though since it would still happen to an extent without snowmachines, like say with sled dogs. I’d say the next biggest cause of death/injury is caused by driving too fast. Most new sleds can go crazy fast and in no time at all. If you aren’t used to speed than you don’t know how much space you need to slow down or how fast you can take corners.
