No. This may be a medical issue for specific children but it is not a child protection issue. If this is the only area of concern relating to the parents’ care of their children then advice to the parents about the dangers of passive smoking or suggesting the involvement of health services such as Child and Youth Health (83031500) is a much more appropriate initial response to the problem.
