Is sly stalone a coward for evading the draft during th Viet Nam war?
You know, the Viet Nam war was being protested by alot of people who didn’t believe we should be involved in a civil war between North and South Viet Nam, was he a coward, or did he make the right choice? Many soldiers who lived thru the war, had become drug addicts and alcoholics, there was no hero welcome for them when they came home, and thier lives were pretty much destroyed by the war. The drug addiction and alcohol abuse was started in Viet Nam, since the soldiers were thousands of miles from home, there were no comforts of home to be found, they literally lived in a jungle sometimes surrounded by the enemy, and not knowing from which direction the next attack was coming, they didn’t have the instruments we have today, and there was no way of knowing what the lay of the land was, they were thrown into an unknown land, with enemy who knew every aspect of the jungle they were fighting in, and they were hated by both the north and south Vietnamese people.
