Is Skystream dangerous to birds and/or bats?
Birds and bats very occasionally collide with small wind generators as they do with any other type of structure. However, such events are very rare. By way of context over 10million birds are killed by cars each year in the UK. The RSPB is broadly in favour of wind power, because the far larger threat to our bird populations is the effects of climate change.
