Is skipping rope a good exercise after 40+ and you have a chest pain before?

I worship skipping rope.I used to work out for hours daily and started skipping rope and everything changed.I blasted my abs in 3 months and got a 18 pack stomach I toned down a lot and it seemed to work out my whole body.I had more stamina more strength so on.Due to medical problems I cant work out now.But yes start out slow you will get better and better then increase your time at it.As far as your chest pain if you have a dr get checked out before any work out program. As far as chest pain I had it also but after tests it was found to be stress.Stress can do weird things to the body.GET CHECKED OUT FIRST.
