Is skipping periods bad?
There’s no way to know what side-effects this will cause for you, but it’s likely that you’ll just have your “usual” side-effects (that may be none or whatever you happen to experience while on the pill). However, every few months, your body might “ask” for a period, and you’ll experience spotting or breakthrough bleeding. I was prescribed normal birth control pills to be used like Lybrel (skipping periods aka “Continuous Cycling”). The nurse practitioner just told me to take a period when my body asked for it (by taking a seven day inactive week). I haven’t experienced any unexpected side-effects.
