Is skin thickness included for Internal structure surfaces?
Skin thickness applied to internal structure surfaces is not taken into account when calculating the volume of Tanks and Compartments that use internal structure surfaces as boundaries. If you want to include the effect of the tank boundary surface’s skin thickness, you have to model the surface to the inside of the tank. The thickness of hull surfaces is taken into account. Remember to check the direction of the outside arrows when applying skin thickness.
