Is sinbad the comedian dead (played in “Its a different world”?
Sinbad is not dead, and for the smart asses, neither is his career. Just because you don’t see him in the movies or on TV a lot anymore, doesn’t mean he’s floundering. Performers would kill to have had a fraction of his succes in those areas. His “thing” has always been stand up comedy. He is a regular in Las Vegas and many other top venues, and is still getting fat paychecks from residuals – that’s why , much as Whoopie Goldberg did, when the iron was hot, he took every opportunity he could get his hands on. He probably doesn’t need to work again a day in his life. Like Jay Leno does, Sinbad still tours the small comedy store circuits for the love of the craft. We need more comics that don’t cop out to the easy profanity laced gutter humor for success.
