For one thing, these games are designed to be played by kids as young as 9 years old, using just a thumb controller for steering hardly realistic. In addition, the cars can be driven from any number of driving views (chase cam seems to be the most popular) and the physics are such that the vehicles can endure multiple hard collisions — again not realistic. In contrast, our simulated vehicles can only be controlled by a real steering wheel and the only available view is from the driver’s seat. We have made the entire driving experience as realistic as possible and no concessions have been made to making the experience easy the vehicle drives and handles just like a real car would.
