Is Sign Language the same in different countries?

0

There are different sign languages as well as there are different spoken languages. ASL (American Sign Language) is used mostly in the States and Canada (it’s used also in about 50 different countries), but it’s way different of BSL (British Sign Language), from fingerspelled alphabet to vocab, even though they both use spoken English. Even in the area of Quebec in Canada is used LSQ (a completely different language). I’m an ASL and LSA (Argentinian Sign Language) and they are two completely different languages too. I needed to learn a new language from the very beginning. Those are just a few examples. There are many different sign languages around the world. Definitely, THERE IS NOT A SIGN LANGUAGE USED WORLDWIDE in the same way there is not an only spoken language throughout the planet.
