Is shwayze ethiopian?
He probably isn’t. Only a very small percentage of Africans in the US are actually Ethiopian. The majority of their ancestors were taken from western African in areas that are now countries such as senegal, sierra lione, ghana, the ivory coast, etc. At that time though, Europeans and Americans alike called almost all Africans “Ethiopians” because that was the most famous African country. So a more likely situation, is that his ancestors slaveholders (If he is a descendant of slaves, if he isn’t this whole theory doesn’t apply to him and maybe he is Ethiopian) called his ancestors “Ethiopians”, and that’s what they told their kids, and so on. So in the end, he probably isnt actually ethiopian, but i don’t know his story specifically so i could be completely wrong.
