Is Shakespearean poetry and literature overrated?

Hmmm… slightly overrated perhaps but that doesn’t take away from the good work he has produced. In fact, once you decipher all the old english his works are pretty poignant and still have relevance to modern society. My two favourites are Macbeth and Taming of the Shrew (more so the latter)… and there is one sonnet that I love, but the name escapes me right now.
