Is Senshi-Con really the first anime convention to exist in Alaska?
Yes! Senshi-Con began on March 4, 2005 at West High School, as a small con put together by high school students who were disappointed at the lack of conventions in Alaska and wanted to start their own. After the group members graduated and the con grew bigger, we moved to a bigger venue at the UAA Student Union and incorporated more events.
