If you send out too early, ppl tend to put you on the back burner thinking they have plenty of time to buy the baby a gift. Then they forgot and then have to rush to the store and pick a fly by gift for you. You should send 2 weeks before for 2 reasons. It gives them time to plan their day for you in advanced and also gives them time to get a gift even if it needs to be ordered. A month is too early. A month also makes room to be invited to and pass on yours. Make it an RSVP invite.
