Is sell of Patent idea a very rare occurrence ?

0

You cannot patent an idea! Therefore you have nothing to patent, and nothing to sell. You must have plans & specifications and a prototype to get a patent. Once you have a patent, then you can sell the rights to the product or process. There is also a “design patent.” Your plans, specifications & design must be prepared, printed, and submitted with a design patent application in proper form. See an Intellectual Property attorney for specific info. Do NOT discuss, show, reveal, etc any info about your idea to anyone whatsoever except your Intellectual Property attorney until you compete the work necessary to file patent application and get your patent. If you require the services of, say, a model maker to produce your prototype or some such, your patent atty will prepare the proper non-disclosure agreement necessary to protect you and your project.
