A. A separate Agreement-in-Principle was negotiated by the Nunavik Inuit, the Government of Canada and the Government of Québec to address public government for Inuit and non-Inuit alike in this region. This agreement was initialled by the negotiators for Makivik Corporation, Quebec and Canada on August 9, 2007. The initialling signifies the negotiator’s willingness to recommend the agreement to their principals for their approval. The agreement has not yet been approved by all parties, but once approved and signed, it will form the basis for final agreement.
