It’s both. Science helps with formulating a set of rules while art helps with deciding when to follow them and when not to. Furthermore, science helps with reformulating those rules and art, again, helps with deciding what to do with them. Definitely, securities trading and investing in the financial markets for the longer term are not complicated sciences! The simpler, the better!
