Is secretarial job a boring job?

0

I have been working as an administrative assistant almost my entire career. I’m 53 and truly enjoy what I do. Sometimes it isn’t the secretarial work but the type of company you work for. Working for an international hotel chain, you could look at the catering dept., where you might get the opportunity to assist with big events, or at the front desk where you might meet a lot of interesting people. I work for an architecture firm and have learned all sorts of skills on the job. You don’t necessarily need to go to a vocational school to learn, if you have computer skills, a good knowledge of MS Office, you can pick up the skills you might be lacking on the job.
