Is scrapple almost the same as the board game scrabble?
Once upon a midnight query, EC and I would play trivia all night long out in his camper. I am the vat of useless knowledge I am today because of some of the fun lame brain games we used to play. Scrabble, was always a test of wits. We would somehow memorize entries in the ‘scrabble dictionary’ early that morning to try and impress the other later on in the game. But, by pure serendipity, stressing the word ‘dip’, EC invented a new game. If memory serves, he was down to his final 2 tiles and submitted the word IG. I think he was going for ID, but he laid out IG. I thought I was going to fall out of my seat and roll out of the camper, I was laughing so hard. You see, at this point, the game had gotten all the way down to the nitty gritty and we were desperately tyring to come up with little words that fit. One of EC’s nicknames, to this day, is still IG.
