Is scouting still relevant for todays youth activities?

Are you talking about Boy Scouting? Definitely, It’s the only thing that I can really put on my college resume that i’m an Eagle scout, without it, I probably would get no where in life, but don’t think that I only use Boy Scouting just because of the benefits it can give me in the future, I truly loved what I did. It shaped me into the person that I am today and truly gave me great knowledge about the real world in some of my required merit badges and such. I would always get to the meetings ten minutes before anyone else and would always take down notes on whatever my Scoutmaster would tell me… I was also involved in many of the of the elected positions in my troop and sometimes felt like I carried my troop on my back when it came to athletic competitions… But overall, scouting is relevant, at least it was to me I loved scouting, but I think when your about to reach the rank of Eagle scout, your parents think you get too old for it and that’s how my parents kind of were with me.
