Is Science of Mind About Getting More Money, a New Car, or the Right Relationship?
Yes and No. Science of Mind is about learning to direct your life using the Spirit within to guide you. If your desire is for greater abundance in your life, Science of Mind does not teach that this is wrong. We are meant to express the full abundance and energy of Spirit in as many ways as possible, provided it is never at the expense of others. We are also encouraged to seek and realize harmonious relationships with others. It is a fact, however, that once people learn to listen to their Spirit which directs their actions, they will also gradually change their inner motivation from one directed outward at material and social desires to one directed inward toward the expression of love and inner peace. These outward desires, after all, are really directed toward the achievement of inner peace and contentment.
