Is Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (So long Mr. Despair) second season worth watching?
I’ve watched only the first episode so far (since only the 1st has been subbed and subs for episode 2 should come soon hopefully, the raw’s out) and just based on the first episode I think it’s worth watching. It seems like nothing really changed but the car crash (?) from episode 11 didn’t really get explained, so I guess he didn’t die. There’s a new op and ed, it was ok but I liked the ones in season 1 more. Animation didn’t really change or at least I wasn’t paying enough attention to notice. I would say since you liked some of the first season, it wouldn’t hurt to start watching the second. There’s anime out there where you shouldn’t judge by the first episode since it gets better. You could always drop it later if you didn’t like it. Edit: Since I pretty much forgot what happened, I skimmed through the first episode just now. In the first half you get “I’m in despair!
