Is saying god created the universe not faulty logic?

“God created the universe” is merely a statement. Logic doesn’t come into play here. The statement is either true, or false. What you are probably referring to however is a situation where this statement is inserted as the conclusion to a presime that is does not follow from. For example: The universe is so complex, its existence can’t currently (or ever) be explained, Therefore: God created the universe. This is faulty logic…specifically, an argument from ignorance. The fact that we have no explanation means that we have no explanation. It does not give us the freedom to invent an answer that accounts for the premise, but cannot be show to be sound on it’s own. This can be summed up: “I don’t know, therefore I do know”. It looks as if all your examples fall into this line of faulty reasoning. It does (as a side effect) also tend to halt inquiry to insert a faulty conclusion.
