No, SARCAN is real work for real pay. SARCAN employees receive competitive wages as well as a benefit and pension plan. SARCAN is a business which holds the exclusive contract with the Government of Saskatchewan to recycle used beverage containers across the province. This multi-million dollar obligation requires hundreds of competent employees to work at real jobs. We are proud to extend the responsibility of real employment to persons with disabilities. As SARCAN expands with new initiatives such as milk containers, used paint, and obsolete electronics, so to does our workforce, and we look forward to SARCAN’s future growth and opportunities for employment.
