Is Santo Daime a tea?
Not really. In fact, it is a sort of wine, known since ancient times as “The Wine of the Souls”. It takes about 12 hours to be cooked following several steps. Also, it takes 15 more days to ferment. Aseptic conditions are very rigorous, because in case of any kind of contamination, the drink will taste somewhat like vinegar, making it therefore hard to be drunk.
