Is San Francisco State Universties or the Academy of Art Universities photography program better?
What kind of photography are you focusing on: commercial, fine art, photo journalism, scientific? Also, what do you intend to do with your degree once you get it. Choosing a University is not easy if you are not certain what it is that you are doing and if you are not certain I would suggest spending some time in a community college learning about the various photo fields, and perhaps even working in the field you are interested in. Anyhow, if you can give me an idea of what you are interested in, I am familiar with both schools and their programs. Though personally I have to say hold off on art school if your plan is to get a MFA in fine art photography.
