Is Saint Rose Academy within the Archdiocese of Atlanta School system?

No. After a meeting with the Superintendent of Catholic Schools in June, 2006, it became apparent to the board that in order to keep Saint Rose Academy affordable, it was not in our collective best interest to become an Archdiocesan school. The model the Archdiocese has does not allow volunteers to be used to full potential, and the costs associated with joining the Archdiocese conflict with our mission statement to provide an affordable Catholic school option. Therefore, we chose to become an independent school rather than an Archdiocesan one.
