No experience with horse dewormers, but let me say this – many wormers are the same regardless of the species of animal. Ivermectin, for instance. The difference is the dosage – with a large animal like a horse or a big dog, you’ve got a bit of room between a lethal dose and an effective dose. Cats (and small dogs) need to have a more precise dose of whatever wormer you’re using. I have no idea what the active ingredient is in this particular one. There are many medications that are safe to use in dogs, but are lethal to cats. Aspirin is one of those, and so is rymadil (used to tread arthritis). Both of those are fine in dogs, but both can poison a cat. This is truly a question that needs to be posed to a vet, and not one that should be put out to a board like this.
