Though Ryan Phillippe has admitted that he was suicidal in the days following his separation from Reese Witherspoon a year ago, insiders say he’s now enjoying being single and is relieved that Reese has moved on with Jake Gyllenhaal. “Ryan wants Reese to be happy and he thinks Jake is a good guy for her,” a friend of Ryan’s tells In Touch. “He has a lot of respect for Jake,” his onetime workout buddy. “Now that she is happy at last, Ryan is enjoying his newfound freedom and embracing life as a bachelor,” an insider adds.
