Is rugby better than football?
If rugby was better than football, why is football the national sport of the UK? And why are there so many more football clubs – professional, semi-pro, and amateur – and ditto for fans? You’re asking a rhetorical question, of course rugby isn’t better than football; I mean rugby players don’t even understand the basic principle that a ball has got to be round to roll or move well! Football is more of a sport for all, whilst rugby isn’t even taught in a lot of schools except where there’s a strong regional influence…and in grammar and private schools. And Jimmythebull – don’t go correcting the question poser to Americanisms, football is NOT soccer to most of the world, it really is FOOTBALL.
