Is Rossmoor a Gated Community?
In addition to regular protection by the Walnut Creek Police Department, Rossmoor residents are protected by Rossmoors 24-hour security service, including regular vehicle patrols. There are no armed guards at Rossmoor because Rossmoor is not a walled city but rather a limited access community. An evening stroll on a warm night is a regular feature of Rossmoors secure community. Residents receive a car identification for immediate passage through the security entrance. Guests will need to show their guest passes. Resident will automatically be waived through the security gate. Visitors without passes will need to identify themselves and be announced by phone to the residents they plan to visit. Rossmoor prohibits door to door solicitation.
