Is rock n roll music really a sin?
Well, it’s hard for me to think of Elvis Presley singing ‘Blue Suede Shoes’ or ‘Hound Dog’ as being sinful, but back in the day parents thought it was. Today the situation is much different. By my measure, lyrics or RnR songs contain objectionable words, demeaning topics, all kinds of reference to sex, cast doubt on the authority of law enforcement officers; the list goes on and on. Let me say that I do not listen to the type of RnR music described above. I am assuming that you have accepted Jesus as your Saviour and you call yourself Christian; if you have not, you need to get that changed immediately. When a person accepts Jesus, his understanding of the expectations of God for his life is the same one minute after his conversion as it was one minute before, except now he has the love of Jesus Christ in his heart.
