Is rock and metal music evil?
Some of it is certainly said to encode subliminal messages which can be heard if played backwards. I think the music of Marilyn Manson is completely deranged and evil and it has certainly been linked to at least one suicidal death (some of his lyrics promote that unbelievably!) and also to murder…. “His Satanic lyrics and grotesque videos were blamed for the Columbine High School massacre in Colorado when two neo-Nazi teenagers killed 25 of their classmates.” quoted from: [ http://alterophobia.blogspot.com/2008/06… ]. He should be tried in a court of law, sentenced, and his music should be withdrawn. I think it is often the lyrics themselves that are often iffy, and you don’t have to play the music backwards to find dark lyrics. Also, the beat and rhythm often may have a satanic element. http://
